Why is responsible gaming important?

Online gaming has become a form of entertainment for millions of people. But like any leisure activity, gaming is only healthy when kept in check. Responsible gaming on 796app isn't just about following rules — it's a commitment to protecting your financial health, mental well-being, and personal relationships.

We ask every 796app user to see gaming as a source of entertainment, not income. Before placing any bet, ask yourself: Is this within my budget? Is this affecting my life?

Practicing responsible gaming means you'll enjoy it more in the long run. 796app is committed to helping you do exactly that.

All responsible gaming tools on 796app are free and available at any time. Your well-being is our priority.

The Golden Rules of Responsible Gaming

To support responsible gaming on 796app, we recommend following a set of core principles that will keep your gaming experience healthy and enjoyable:

  • Set a Budget: Set a fixed budget for each day or week and stick to it. Never wager an amount whose loss would affect your daily life.
  • Respect Your Time Limits: Decide in advance how much time you'll spend gaming each day. Set an alarm and take a break when your time is up.
  • Don't chase your losses: Chasing losses by placing bigger bets is a dangerous habit. Every game is independent.
  • Don't play on impulse: Never play when you are angry, frustrated, or have been drinking. A clear head leads to better decisions.
  • Spend Time with Family and Friends: Don't let gaming get in the way of your family and social life. Time with the people you care about should always come first.
  • Treat gaming as entertainment: It's best not to expect to earn income from gaming. Treat it like any other entertainment — the same way you would a movie or a sporting event.
  • Take Regular Breaks: Take at least a 10–15 minute break every hour. Get up, walk around, and drink some water.

Recognize the Warning Signs

Gaming addiction develops gradually. If you notice any of the following signs, it may be time to take action:

  • You keep exceeding your set budget and find yourself unable to stop.
  • You feel a strong urge to keep betting more in order to recover money you have lost.
  • Preoccupation with gaming is affecting your ability to focus on work, family, or sleep.
  • You hide your gaming habits from family or friends.
  • You are spending money set aside for essential bills or monthly expenses on gaming.
  • You feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you can't play.
  • Gaming is causing you to neglect work, studies, or family responsibilities.

If you identify with three or more of the signs above, please contact 796app's support team or seek guidance from a professional counselor.

Self-Assessment

Answer the following questions honestly. If most of your answers are "yes", consider reaching out for help:

1

Did you spend more than your budget on gaming last month?

2

After a loss, have you played more to try to win it back?

3

Have you ever had conflicts with family or loved ones over gaming?

4

Have you ever tried to stop gaming but couldn't?

5

Do you feel restless or irritable when you're not gaming?

6

Do thoughts of gaming come to mind while you're working or studying?

This assessment is not a substitute for professional diagnosis. If you have concerns, please speak with a mental health professional.
